13. Use of Bluetooth (BLE) and Geolocation
The CTS application uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology exclusively to detect, connect to and receive data from compatible sensors and devices that have been registered or selected by the user within the application. Information received via Bluetooth is used solely to provide CTS features related to the user’s activity and training. CTS does not use Bluetooth technology to determine, obtain, store or track the user’s geographical location. On certain versions of the Android operating system, accessing or searching for nearby Bluetooth devices may require permissions that the operating system has historically associated with the device’s location. Granting such permissions, when required for technical or compatibility reasons, does not mean that CTS accesses, collects, stores or uses the user’s geographical location. CTS does not track location, does not store GPS coordinates and does not use geolocation data for commercial, advertising, statistical or any other purposes.
14. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to legislative or case-law developments, as well as industry practices.
This policy will remain in force until it is replaced by a duly published updated version.
